Johor Darul Takzim F.C.
History
JDT was founded as Kelab Bolasepak Perbadanan Kemajuan Ekonomi Negeri Johor (PKENJ F.C.) and participated in state football competitions before entering the Malaysian football league in 1988 in FAM Cup, later then changed its name to Johor F.C. in 1996, and to Johor Darul Takzim F.C. in 2013 (unsure about the year , but still around 2011-2013). In 1994 and 1995, the club won 2 consecutive FAM Cup titles as PKENJ FC and was the runner-up in 1996 as Johor FC.
From 1997 until 2001, Johor FC was promoted to the second tier Malaysian football league, the Malaysian Premier League (which was then known as the Premier-Two League), and won the title in 2001. The club earned promotion to the Super League in 2006/07 season after FAM's decision to expand the league to 14 teams and was respectively regular top 6 finish in the league until 2010 season. The club was the first club team in Malaysian football league to enter Malaysian Cup in 2000, which was previously dominated by State Football Associations,[3] after defeated ATM FA by aggregate in second-round of qualification. The club also participated in AFC Cup in 2009 replacing Negeri Sembilan FA who qualified did not enter the competition.
Pre-season
Before the 2013 Malaysia Super League starts, JDT entered the Crown Prince of Johor Cup. They won 5–1 to Singapore club, Woodlands Wellington.[4] In the final, JDT lose to Johor FA 2–1 at Larkin Stadium.[5] On 14 December 2012, Daniel Guiza and Muslim Ahmad scored in 2–0 win in a friendly match againstPelita Bandung Raya FC at Larkin Stadium.[6] Four days later, JDT won 2–1 to Malaysian FAM League team, Pos Malaysia FC.[7]
2013
JDT starts their season with 3–2 lose against Pahang FA despite 1st half leading.[8] On 11 January, Aidil Zafuan scored for JDT in 1–0 win over nine-man Perak FA at the Larkin Stadium, Johor Bahru.[9] Daniel Guiza scored an 40 metre freekick equaliser against Kelantan FA in 1–1 draw at Sultan Mohammad IV Stadium, Kota Bharu.[10] On 27 January, JDT announced they will have five friendly matches during three-week break.[11] JDT won 3–0 in the first friendly over Singapore S-League club side Hougang.[12] Daniel Guiza blast 5 goals in the second friendly against H20 Dream Team in Singapore.[13] JDT beat Geylang United 1–0 before registering a 3–0 win over Singapore Armed Forces. The 2013 League
The first match round of the league, ex-imported JDT's player, Daniel Guiza and Simone Del Nero scores 6 and 1 goals respectively. Their first league match, they were lose by an Eastern team,Pahang FA with a score, 3-2. Safiq Rahim and Norshahrul Idlan Talaha scored at the Darulmakmur Stadium. They play until the half of the season, the imported players, was changed and the FA of Johor transfer a new Argentinian player, Leonel Núñez. The second player is from Brazil, Andrezinho.
2013 Malaysia FA Cup
The first FA cup round a match against Perak FA at Tan Sri Dato Hj Hassan Yunos Stadium in Johor. They won with 1-0 score.Aidil Zafuan goal qualified them to the second round. At the second round, they defeated Kedah FA by 5-4 penalties, before that Daniel Guiza scored at the last minute of the match with a low-level freekick, defeating the secondary division team until they reach the quater final against Selangor FA. The first leg of the FA Cup, they lose in their home stadium by scores, 1-2. But the second leg they won back 2-1 in Shah Alam Stadium in Selangor. That's mean an extra time helded until penalty kicks. Mahali Jasuli and K.Gurusamy kicks saved by Al-Hafiz to make them qualified to the semi-final. At the semi-final the first leg was held in Tan Sri Dato Hj Hassan Yunos Stadium and they won 1-0 scored by Leonel Núñez with a good placing goal. The second leg, they lose but the FIFA away goals rule qualified them to the final that will be held in Bukit Jalil National Stadium. They lose 1-2 to Pahang FA, JDT's Brazilian player, Andrezinho scores three minutes after half time rest. They will meet Kelantan FA to determine the team that will win the 2013 Malaysia FA Cup..

Stadium
As Johor FC, the club used to play at Pasir Gudang Municipal Council's Stadium as its home. Johor FC held its reputation as a formidable club in Super League. But after the takeover, now known as Johor Darul Takzim, the club is currently playing at Larkin Stadium,
Johor Bahru. The capacity of the stadium is 30,000 people and opened in 1991. It was named after former Menteri Besar of Johor, Tan Sri Dato Hj. Hassan Yunus.[16]
